Mike DeMaioribus Retires from Dynetics

Dynetics announced today that Mike DeMaioribus, executive vice president of Business Operations, will retire on September 14, 2016, after 39 years with the company. DeMaioribus' responsibilities include management of the company's Finance, Contracts, Human Resources, Security, Facilities, Project Support and Creative Media Solutions organizations.

DeMaioribus joined Dynetics in 1977 and has progressed through various engineering, management and executive positions. He has performed and managed research, development, test and evaluation of weapon systems including radars; missiles; and command, control, communications, computers and intelligence (C4I) systems. Prior to his current position, DeMaioribus served as Dynetics senior vice president and manager of the Hardware and Intelligence Operating Unit, comprised of more than 280 engineers, scientists, and technicians in four U.S. locations.

 "Mike's experience with and insights about Dynetics customers is irreplaceable," said David King, Dynetics CEO. "Not only does he have the insights that come from his being with the company since its third year in business, but he has a track record of successful relationships, projects and initiatives almost too lengthy to describe.

"Chief among Mike's accomplishments is his recognized expertise on foreign air defense systems," King adds. "And for the past three years, Mike has been indispensable in helping Dynetics continue to evolve its diverse operations in support of our growing business."

DeMaioribus is vice president pro-tem of the Auburn University Board of Trustees and is a member of the State of Alabama Engineering Hall of Fame. He also serves on the board of directors for the Huntsville Botanical Garden and previously served as chair of the board of directors for the United Way of Madison County and chair of the Auburn Alumni Engineering Council. Mike holds bachelor's and master's degrees in electrical engineering from Auburn University.
