Shane Hammett, a Dynetics senior cybersecurity threat analyst, has accepted a position on the Cyber Huntsville board of directors. Cyber Huntsville is a 501(c)(6) non-profit organization made up of industry, government and academic institutions that are dedicated to making Huntsville and the Tennessee Valley region a nationally and internationally recognized cyber leader.
As cybersecurity threat analyst at Dynetics, Hammett assists in providing customers across diverse industries with more accurate assessments of the cyber threat landscape as part of comprehensive cyber risk assessments. To facilitate these assessments, Dynetics has developed Cyber RiskScope,® a portfolio of cyber risk management solutions, to provide clients insight into potential business impacts from cyber incidents, likely cyber threats and appropriate levels of cybersecurity.
Hammett's career includes work in both the public and private sectors. Most recently, he served the U.S. Department of Homeland Security developing the National Cybersecurity Communication and Integrations Center in Pensacola, Fla. He has worked with governors and Homeland Security directors to develop policies related to cybersecurity. He has also been appointed to numerous intelligence groups where he guided the threat intelligence architecture of facilities throughout the Southeast.
Hammett, a graduate of Auburn University, has a degree in management information systems.
