Under the theme "Impacting the Integrity of Cyberspace," solutions for continuous diagnostics and monitoring, advanced persistent threat (APT) reverse engineering and energy assurance will be demonstrated in the Dynetics booth at the 13th Annual North Alabama Cyber Security Summit. The conference is scheduled for June 4-5 at Huntsville's Von Braun Center South Hall. The company will also be the Diamond sponsor of the event and highlight an upcoming technical security conference it will host in August, Rocket City TakeDownCon.
The Cyber Security Summit, presented by Cyber Huntsville and North Alabama Information Systems Security Association (ISSA), will carry the theme, "Effective Governance through Risk Management."
Featured speakers will include retired Lt. Gen. Peter Cuviello, lead client partner, Deloitte Consulting LLP; Jonathan Pettus, NASA Marshall Space Flight Center CIO; retired Lt. Gen. Ronald Burgess, Auburn University; Dr. Ron Ross, NIST Computer Security Division; Michele Cantley, Regions Bank CISO; Rosemary Wenchel, DHS cybersecurity coordination; and Jeremy Conway, founder of SudoSecure.
"We are pleased to be the primary sponsor for this conference," said Jonathan Whitcomb, Dynetics vice president for Enterprise Solutions. "Huntsville is particularly sensitive to cyber threats because of Redstone Arsenal and the large amount of space and defense work that takes place here. It's important that the community is educated on the latest threats and how to protect against them."
Rocket City TakeDownCon, which Dynetics will co-sponsor with the EC-Council Foundation, will be held at the Dynetics Solutions Complex with pre-conference training Aug. 14-17 and the conference Aug. 18-19. Rocket City TakeDownCon is a highly technical forum that focuses on the latest vulnerabilities, the most potent exploits and current security threats. The best and the brightest in the cybersecurity field will share their expertise, giving attendees an opportunity to learn about the industry's most current and important issues.
