GroundAware Surveillance Radar Detects Encroachers

Dynetics representatives will be at the American Association of Airport Executives (AAAE) Conference May 18-21 to demonstrate to airport directors, board members and other stakeholders how the company's GroundAware radar will help them immediately detect intruders and respond before they pose real danger to safety and security. Dynetics will be in Booth #113 at the conference, which will be held at the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center in San Antonio, Texas.

Dynetics, a 40-year innovator of sensor technologies, will show how GroundAware's technology instantaneously and accurately detects fence climbers, stowaways, drunk drivers, aircraft, vehicles, birds and wildlife when they breach perimeters and encroach on airport grounds.

The GroundAware radar is software-defined, web-based and built with off-the-shelf components, designed for ease in configuring, deploying and use. GroundAware was designed to be affordable for both large and small airports seeking to augment their situational awareness. Developers describe the key benefits to an airport's security infrastructure as highly accurate situational awareness with a very low false alarm rate; all-weather dependability; high reliability and minimal support; flexibility to meet diverse needs; interoperability with video and other assets; and easy installation and use.

The AAAE annual conference attracts thousands of airport and aviation professionals, including airport executives; airport and aviation suppliers and vendors; airline personnel; and representatives from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) and the Department of Homeland Security (DHS).
