Detailed modeling enables the assessment of system performance; limitations; and high-order behavior such as maximum lateral acceleration through a range of angles of attack, altitude effects, accurate acceleration profiles, launch and engagement doctrine, electronics and sensors, and system latencies.
To keep the cost of testing to a minimum while working to ensure successful flight test programs, Dynetics utilizes simulations to assist in aerodynamic design, GNC design, hardware integration, and mission planning.
